• CHIP Under the Microscope--A look at the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) in Hamilton County and issues regarding enrollment, reinrollment, and outreach.
• The Need for Behavioral Health Services for School-Age Children: A Survey of Students in Southwestern Ohio--Three county-level mental health boards serving Butler, Clermont, Clinton, and Warren Counties contracted with the Institute for Policy Research of the University of Cincinnati to survey students and determine the extent and depth of the students' needs.

• Homeless in Cincinnati--A report for the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless on a comprehensive 2000 study on the homeless population.
• Journey Toward Self-Sufficiency: A Qualitative Study--A research project for Cincinnati Works.
• Men Who Frequent the FreeStore/FoodBank: A Qualitative Study--This study looks at the experiences of indigent men from the perspective these men and identification of the needs of indigent men.
• When Welfare to Work Doesn't Work: Interlocking Problems of Low-Income Women--This study looks at the barriers faced by 69 female welfare recipients in Hamilton County who attended the Campus program at the FreeStore/FoodBank, a program designed to help hard-to-serve welfare recipients.

• In Need of Help: Experiences of Seriously Ill Prisoners Returning to Cincinnati--This report by the Urban Institute looks and the physical and mental health status and needs of prisoners returning to Cincinnati after release.
• The Need for Behavioral Health Services for School-Age Children: A Survey of Students in Southwestern Ohio--Three county-level mental health boards serving Butler, Clermont, Clinton, and Warren Counties contracted with the Institute for Policy Research of the University of Cincinnati to survey students and determine the extent and depth of the students' needs.
• Working Together: Using One-Stops to Help People with Severe Mental Illness get Jobs-- Fewer people with serious mental illness are employed than people with any other illness. With an untapped workforce of over 100,000 adults receiving care and recovering in Ohio, better ways to coordinate mental health, rehabilitation, and disability systems with workforce development initiatives should be explored. This research demonstrates that effective coordination can have some impact on t he employment of people with severe mental illness.
